About me I am a qualified Maths teacher, registered with the General Teaching Council and CRB checked (certificate available for inspection). I have a friendly and relaxed approach to Maths tutoring that is focused on achieving the pupil's goals. I am 56 years of age, have an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering and am able to give private maths tuition at GCSE or ‘A’ level or computer programming tuition (e.g. C, VBA, perl programming, Web site programming and design). I have taught Mathematics in a comprehensive school and undertaken a great deal of private tuition both recently and in an earlier part of my career. I have retired from full time work in the IT industry where I held a senior position with an international software development company. Recently I have given 1:1 Maths tuition at GCSE level in a local comprehensive school as part of a government program. I live near Bratton (Westbury) and travel to tutor up to a 12 mile radius from home. This includes the towns of Devizes, Frome, Warminster, Trowbridge, Melksham, Bradford on Avon and all the villages in between.
