About me I am a qualified Maths teacher, registered with the General Teaching Council and CRB checked (certificate available for inspection). I am passionate about mathematics and have a friendly and relaxed approach to Maths tutoring that is focused on achieving the pupil's goals. I have an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering and am able to give private maths tuition at GCSE or ‘A’ level. I have taught Mathematics (up to Further Maths A-Level) in a comprehensive school and undertaken a great deal of private tuition over the last four years and in an earlier part of my career. I have retired from full time work in the IT industry where I held a senior position with an international software development company. Recently I have given 1:1 Maths tuition at GCSE level in a local comprehensive school as part of a government program. I live near Bratton (Westbury) and travel to tutor up to a 12 mile radius from home. This includes the towns of Devizes, Frome, Warminster, Trowbridge, Melksham, Bradford on Avon and all the villages in between.
